A group of rocks or an insight to an Ancient world?
You can see a lot of pictures, of the face of mars arounf the internet, and many stories to how it became to be.
The Face of mars, is a massive 'sculpture' on the surface of mars, it is visible from Earth with a telescope and forms a very good likeness of a face. It is a 'Clean' sculpture too, meaning that it seems to be smooth; this could be from the decay.
Some people believe that its just a few rocks in a certain formation, creating the likeness of a Face, others believe it is there for a reason, maybe a species that used to survive there and is now extinct. On one site, there is a theory that a race of humans used to inhabbit the planet many years ago.
What do i think? Well im open to ideas, but i think it may have been formed by an Alien (where alien is another (unknown) species, not on Earth) that visited Mars. I think that there is life out there, for many reasons - but then again what are the chances of them coming near to our side of our solar system?
The Face of mars, is a very interesting thing, it has created some very interesting ideas and controversial opinions, but what it is, really, we may not know for a long time - even if we could go and see it up close.
